During the sweltering Texas summer of 2013, I found myself locked in a two-week battle with the stubborn earth, armed only with a sharp shooter shovel and a long screwdriver, desperately hunting for a missing valve. I scoured the internet for a tool or paying a lawn irrigation technician a steep $90 to $125 per hour, with a mandatory two-hour minimum charge.
Having spent years as a RadioShack store manager, I learned that the key to a successful business lies in putting customer satisfaction above all else. Today, each Chat-R-Box is assembled right here in Texas by me or a family member, and every unit is hand-tested twice to ensure top-notch quality. When a customer needs assistance, I take it personally, always striving to offer the best support for the product I’ve designed and manufactured. In creating the Chat-R-Box, I adhered to the K.I.S.S. principle, ensuring the device is incredibly easy to use, just as good design should be.
Unwilling to part with such a small fortune just to find one elusive valve, I turned to my electronics background for a more creative, cost-effective solution. It dawned on me that I could harness the power of a simple circuit to make the valve announce itself by rapidly turning it on and off, producing a distinct clicking sound. And so, the Chat-R-Box was born, a clever device designed to meet this exact need.
After a long and illustrious career as a RadioShack store manager I learned that customer satisfaction is paramount for a business to be successful. Each Chat-R-Box is assembled in Texas by me or a family member and are hand tested twice during the assembly. I take it personal when a customer needs help with my product that I designed and manufacture. When I designed the Chat-R-Box I adhered to the K.I.S.S principle which makes using the Chat-R-Box extremely easy use.

We have looked for a hurried sprinkler valve box for over a month. I finally gave in and purchased the Chat R Box after watching some videos. This thing is amazing!!! We found the box with in 5 minutes after hooking it up. The box ended up being buried under 12 inches of dirt but we could still hear the distinct noise. I would recommend d this to x in our shoes. Stop digging holes and wasting time!!!

Amazing product and the best price I could find. Was able to locate a missing valve for my sprinkler system. Unfortunately, that valve is under a crepe Myrtle tree. I was able to hear the valve chattering with the outside noise at a minimum.
